Bienvenid@ a la web del Proyecto Life+ Olmos Vivos, donde puedes encontrar toda la información relativa al proyecto.
The LIFE + Elm project ends its execution period.
With the last plantation campaign carried out in 2019, the plantation of elms within the framework of the project ended, although resistant elms will continue to be planted thanks to many other initiatives developed by different social agents. The project ended administratively on September 30, 2019. However, the state of conservation of the plantations will continue in the future.
A total of 7,128 trees of Ulmus laevis and 9,652 trees of U. minor resistant to Dutch elm disease have been planted in riverbank areas and urban environments. The “Manual for Sustainable Management of the Iberian Elm Stands in the Tagus River Basin” (in Spanish) and the Layman Report are made available to the interested public, which can be consulted in the Documentation section, along with other informative materials.
